Provinzialat – Infirmerie

1556 vernichtete ein Brand große Teile des Hinterstädtchens. Verschont blieb ein Fachwerkhaus um 1500, das vom Kloster 1659 erworben wurde. Es diente als Provinzialat (Verwaltungs-und Lagergebäude). Das Nachbarhaus gelangte 1710 in Klosterbesitz und wurde zur Infirmerie (Krankengebäude) umgebaut. 1860 wurde hier die erste Hirschhorner Krankenpflegestation sowie der erste Kindergarten eingerichtet

 

 

Monestary –  Infirmary

In 1556 a fire destroyed many houses in the original town, now known as the “Hinterstaedtchen” (the back of town, the back precinct). One survivor of  the fire was a half-timbered building which had been constructed around 1500. This building was later (1659) purchased by the monks in the monastery, and used for administration, storage and as a guesthouse. Then, in 1710, the building next door was also bought by the monastery and converted into an infirmary. In 1860, it became the first municipal health clinic, and accommodated a kindergarten, too.

 

 

Infirmerie provinciale

En 1556, une grande partie de l’arrière ville fut détruite par un incendie. Seule une maison à colombages des années 1500 resta épargnée et fut rachetée par le couvent en 1659. Le bâtiment servit d’administration, de dépôt et de maison d’hôtes. La maison voisine fut acquise par le couvent en 1710 puis transformée en infirmerie.

En 1860, on y ouvrit le premier hôpital de Hirschhorn ainsi que la première crèche pour les enfants.
